What are the boats like?
The boats we charter are the finest available for charter in each sailing region. They range in length from about 30 feet to over 50 feet. They are modern boats with full galley, head, hot showers, and comfortable bunks.

Do I need to know how to sail to take part in a cruise?
Sailing Adventures are designed for both experienced sailors and those who have had little or no sailing experience. For those who are experienced sailors, the cruises provide an opportunity to practice, renew and develop new cruising skills. For those who have had little or no sailing experience, the Sailing Adventures are an ideal chance to acquire the basics of sailing and cruising or to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Which destinations will Getaway offer? May we select our own itinerary?
Groups from Getaway Sailing have sailed the British Virgin Islands (BVI), the Greek Islands and the coasts of Ireland, Turkey, Italy and Sweden. We are more than happy to accommodate your request to journey to a new port or country, and we look forward to arranging your adventure!
