Campers spend four days and four nights sailing the Chesapeake Bay. On the fifth day, campers will sail the Sonar 23 racing sailboat out of our private marina. This is a cruising adventure not to be missed!!
Campers will arrive Monday morning with a great adventure on the open water before them. By Friday afternoon they will depart feeling accomplished with newly gained skills, friends and personal experiences.
To make it happen, the campers will:
live aboard a fully-equipped cruising sailboat while sailing from port to port along the Chesapeake Bay. The camp visits classic cruising locations such as Swan Creek, Annapolis, St. Michaels and the Magothy River.
Licensed captains and counselors are specially chosen for these courses based on their ability to inspire and teach the children while maintaining safety at all times.
Our goal for your child?
At the end of this cruising course, we aim for every camper to be proficient in the basics of sailing a cruising boat along the Chesapeake Bay. By its very nature, the experience will teach your child self-reliance, instill self-confidence, and improve leadership skills to be used for a lifetime!
