The Getaway Sailing Club welcomes all who have an interest in sailing.
You can be a club member whether you are an accomplished sailor or
a beginner. The goal of the club is to provide its members with the opportunity to sail a range of high-quality sailboats. Since all maintenance and cleaning are done by Getaway you'll spend
your time sailing rather than working.
Does It Make Sense To Join The Club?
What sailor doesn't dream of owning a boat? But the romance of ownership progressively
fades with each mortgage payment and slip fee. The time and money spent on
maintenance and not sailing combines with the hassles of registration and
insurance paperwork. What you want is to look out of your window and see
a gorgeous afternoon, jump in the car and climb aboard your boat for an energizing
cruise into the sunset. And, you want to tie the boat up at the end of the
day and leave it, knowing that it will be in tip-top condition the next time
