Advanced Coastal Crusing (ASA 106)
Advanced Coastal Cruising (ASA 106) is a 6-day cruising course
designed for the sailor who wants to learn the essential, real-world
skills required for off-shore sailing at night as well as during the day.
Departing from Baltimore, you will sail south to experience the challenges
of the bay.
Course Content:
Instruction will include advanced navigation, anchoring, docking,
sailing at night, setting and maintaining a watch schedule, provisioning
and cooking aboard.
** Customized Dates: Groups of 2 or more can schedule private courses
at no additional cost.
Prerequisites:
Fundamentals of Sailing (ASA101), Intermediate Sailing, and Basic
Cruising (ASA 103). Coastal Navigation (ASA105) is highly recommended.
