When you arrive at Boston Street
The Getaway Marina, where our boats are kept, is directly across from the Safeway just off Boston Street -- you can't miss it. There is usually a staff member there at the marina who can assist you. If you want to come to our offices and classrooms (on the first day, for example, to make a final payment), walk to the end of the Bo Brooks parking lot and walk west along the water front on the red brick path to the gate that leads out to the pier. Push the buzzer or use your cell phone to contact us and we will open the gate. Getaway is located at the end of the pier.
Parking
We recommend parking on Boston Street. It's free and there is almost always a spot. Of course you are welcome to park in the Block Buster/Bo Brooks lot but the parking rates are quite high -- sorry we can no longer validate your ticket.
Attention! We urge you not to park anywhere on the West Marine side of the marina, even for a few minutes. You will most certainly be towed and having had that experience I can tell you that it is very expensive, time consuming and unpleasant!.

To Get to Boston Street from
Hagerstown on Route 70
Take Route 70 to I-695 South toward Glen Burnie. After five miles, exit onto I-95 North to Baltimore. Take I-95 North through the Fort McHenry tunnel. After paying the toll, get in the far right lane and go about 1/2 mile and turn off at the Boston Street exit. At bottom of ramp turn left (west). Continue on Boston Street for 1.5 miles. You will see a Block Buster on the left -- you have arrived at the Baltimore Marine Center. For parking instructions see the notes above.

Follow I-95 South and exit at the O’Donnell Street exit (#57). At bottom of ramp go straight through the traffic light and stay on Boston Street for about 1.5 miles. Take 83 South to the end where it becomes President Street and then swings east and becomes Fleet Street. After about 12 blocks turn right on Boston Street (it branches to the right, at Royal Farms .
