TeamSail Regatta Learn to sail as a team in Baltimore! Our high-energy TeamSail Regatta utilizes a fleet of nine matched Sonars for an exciting regatta. Sailing by its nature requires that the skipper and crew work together as a team, smoothly and effectively. Communication and leadership skills are practiced in an environment of excitement and challenge. The 23 ft. Sonar sailboat allows five participants, plus our skipper, to sail in comfort and safety while taking an active role in sailing the boat. The maximum number of participants in our TeamSail Regatta is 100. The minimum number for which we can plan a program is 10. So, Come Sail with Getaway!! You're staff and execs have gone whitewater rafting and although you love golf, you're wondering if the annual event could be changed this year. So, now's the time to try something new! Sailing is a group activity that is bound to excite and entertain. It provides the perfect environment for enhancing group interaction while enjoying a little light-hearted competition. What should you expect? Getaway provides boats, skippers, classroom, rain-jackets, racing marks, ribbons and committee boat. Customized t-shirts and gourmet lunches can be provided for an additional cost. Cost: • Half-day (4 hours or less), $121 + tax per person • Full-day (4 to 8 hours), $145 + tax per person Additional options: Full photographic coverage is offered for an additional $6 per person. The photo record includes lots of photos of the regatta, team and full group photos and candid pictures of the after-race celebration. Movie footage with accompanied CD is available at $2 per person extra. Cash Deposits & Refunds: A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total cost along with a signed contract is required at the time the event is scheduled. In case the client wishes to reschedule the event there is a $200 fee for rescheduling the event. If GS cancels for any reason, the deposit plus any additional payments will be refunded. TeamSail Cruise Learn the basics of sailing while acting as a crew member on a cruising sailboat. Rotate through the many boat positions such as sail-trimmer, navigator and helmsperson. There will still be time to enjoy the bustling waterfront scene. There's nothing like sailing to work up an appetite. You will enjoy a delicious gourmet lunch while underway. The sailboats used for the TeamSail Cruise range in size from 30 to 36 feet. Each boat has a limit of six passengers. The Getaway fleet includes four boats suitable for TeamSail Cruises so there is a limit of 24 participants.
